A brilliant con man, Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who along with his British partner and lover, but frightened newbie grifter, Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams), are recruited and forced to work for FBI agent, Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper), who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that is as dangerous as it is enchanting. The operation eventually involves the Mayor of Camden, New Jersey, Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner), caught between the con-artists and Feds. Irving’s wife, Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence), could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.

We can’t wait!

Dumb & Dumber To in 2014 – Yes Please!

Mock – Yea!  Ing – Yea!  Bird – Yea!  Yea – Yea!

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne in 2014’s Dumb and Dumber To.

Twenty years after the lovable dim wits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long-lost children.  An ailing Harry is in need of a new kidney, which prompts the best friends to track down his long-lost daughter who they hope can serve as a donor.

Jeff Daniels posted the first pic from the set via twitter.

We’re Back!!!

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has been added to the cast (rumored to be the flashback love interest of Harry that results in child).  Funny man Rob Riggle has also been added.

Dumb and Dumber directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly are back to helm this sequel.  Also joining Carrey and Daniels in reprising their roles from the first movie is Cam Neely, who played the bullying trucker Sea Bass.   “Kick his ass Sea Bass!”

This proves to be one of the most anticipated films of 2014!  You can call a Dumb and Dumber movie film right?  Either way we can’t wait!

The Wolf of Wall Street

Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort – a young hotshot stock broker and head of Stratton Oakmont with a knack for manipulating the stock market.  I’ve read the autobiography of Jordan Belfort and I must say this movie (if done right and face it Scorsese will get it right) will be wild, sexy, scandalous and entertaining as all get out.  Think Wall Street meets Boiler Room (on steroids).   Boiler Room was in fact inspired by Belfort’s story.

The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire

Part 2 of the Hunger Games Trilogy picks up where the first film ended.  If you have read the books (and I haven’t found someone who hasn’t) this trailer needs no introduction.   However for those who haven’t here is the set up.

After winning Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returns home to District 12 along with fellow winner Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Shortly after, they must leave on a Victory Tour of the districts. On the day of the Victory Tour, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) threatens Katniss’ best friend and pretend cousin, Gale Hawthorne. During the tour, Katniss senses that a rebellion is brewing in the districts, but the Capitol is still firmly in control as Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, known as a Quarter Quell, an event taken place every 25. In this Hunger Games, the tributes will be selected from the existing pool of winners. Peeta and Katniss end up in the arena again, only this time surrounded by fellow former champions as President Snow is determined to eliminate them and destroy the rays of hope and the sparks of rebellions brewing up in the Districts
