Avengers: Age of Ultron – Most Anticipated Sequel Ever

The Avengers are back in 2015!

As the US Government creates a force, known as Ultron, the Avengers are told they are no longer needed. But when Ultron (predictably) turns against humanity, the Avengers must assemble yet again for their most dangerous and exciting challenge ever.

Marvel has been building towards this film in recent years.  In Iron Man 2, the government expresses interest in using weaponry (possibly and likely created by Stark) to protect our planet against threats that have surfaced thanks to the known existence of heroes like Iron Man, Hulk and so on. This theme continued in Iron Man 3, highlighting the notion that people are terrified following the Battle of New York (also noted in TV’s Agents of SHIELD), and might look to a new form of protection (Ultron).

Here is what we know about Ultron. The robot will be played by James Spader and he’ll create pure hell for our heroes.  Spader said this recently, “I have spoken to Joss Whedon about it, and yes, actually, just this weekend I went in for them to take very extensive photographs, head scans, body scans, and all kinds of things in preparation for figuring out how the hell I’m gonna fit in this Ultron character!”  This leads us to believe Spader may be in an Iron Man like suit.

Also rumored, the Avengers will be joined by at least two new characters in Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver.  The movie is targeted to be in theaters on May 1, 2015.

As Samuel L. Jackson’s character Nick Fury states “They’ll come back.  Because we’ll need them to.”

After the success of the first Avengers movie (over $1 billion worldwide), this is easily going to be one of the most anticipated sequels ever!
